I have your set up. I'm pulling my built to kilt,
840 Benchmark motor out of my car and jumping into
a zx10 motor.
This 840 motor was built for
HRT's Flying Banana. I ended up with the car just
as Todd and Chris finished it. The car cost
$54,000 to build, obviously no expense was spared
including the motor build. I'm keeping the car and
offing the uber reliable 840 motor for $6250
complete.
-FCR carbs
-CAD ported and polished
heads
-Titanium valves
-Big Valve Train
-Corillo Forged Rods
-Dalton clutch
-V-Force
gears for a higher top speed
-Benchmark / HRT
custom exhaust
-Runs on Pump gas 91 octane
Less than 8 hours on the motor tuned by Chris
at Benchmark. Most of those hours are a proper
break in, and running around the Ranch trying to
making my buddies scream like girls. I had Chris
build me a Race motor minus the high compression
that tends to blow things up. I had him make up
for the low compression by punching it out to an
840cc from the stock 750cc or the Race motor 800cc
so that I could use the motor in Glamis and around
the Ranch. I did this to get seat time in the car
and feel like I was not ruining a full built hi
compression race motor by putting non race hours
on it. The motor is very reliable and way over
built.
I'm asking $4999. Sell your stocker for
$3250k and you'll be in your dream motor package
for $1,750 complete.
