Well, its about that time of year again. We just bought our tickets a couple days ago. This will be year # 4 for us and we plan on going forever. This has to be the most exciting racing I've ever seen. If you have the means to go, do it, you wont regret it. So is anyone else gonna make the journey?

Patty has been bugging me to carve out some cash to go for the last 5 years. I could never seem to keep the money out of the race truck long enough to accumulate more than a pizza's worth. She starting hiding a little each week and finally gets to see her dream in person....Maybe if she gets hooked, I'll finally be allowed to build her the pro-lite I've been thinking about for the last couple of years. What's the deal with getting into the pits-passes required, closed pits, walk real close to Little Joe or what?..Curt

that's one of the beauties of it curt. any spectator can check out all the pit areas. most teams will even invite you into their little area for a closer look if you ask.

with full races 2 days in a row some of the best action is always the after-hours wrenching parties so if you go make sure you can spend some time after the races walking through the pits.

Oh man Steve, the only problem is that you will have to go back every year. If you can get there by early fri morning, get to see all the trucks line up in downtown Crandon. Then they take the highway to the track. And then qualifing on fri afternoon for the borg warner cup, just frigin insane, 800+ hp at full song, 1 truck at a time against the clock.
The teams are so open and nice there too, its very different than what we've gotten used to at most big desert races. And the racing is just the best. Its funny, we go to desert races and look for the biggest jump to get pics from, and maybe 1 out of 50 cars will go big. Its every car on every lap going huge out there, if you saw that same action in the desert it would be insane, its just par for the course there. I cant wait.

I'll be there with my new pro-lite team. We are going to Bark River in a couple of weeks for our 1st race and then to Crandon. I have been wanting race back there for years and it's finally happening. I can't wait!! Look for the RCD Suspension Pro-LITE. See ya there!

HotRod, who built your car? And what motor are you running? What gear box also? Im usually pretty up on Corr related stuff and I hadn't heard about you truck until your post. Share more info as the more current racers there are out here, the more likely corr may do an event here. If the truck is gonna be ready by this weekend, there should be a couple pro-lites running at ROR. Have you races s/c before?

Hey Greg...My truck was built in 2000 by Mike Brue (sp?) for Matt Foltz. It is all chromolly, tig welded, very nice work. The motor is a 2.7L Esslinger Ford (but we are running it as a Mazda just to be different) G-Force trans, Long shifter, king shocks, overall a pretty nice piece although it will get a ground up rebuild and a few mods for 05. I was considering ROR this weekend but frankly there is just too much to do before bark river. I have raced some short course in a super 1600 buggy with MTEG and at Glen Helen back in 94-95. I'm still an avid MXer so I think my track skills are still pretty good. Admittedly I won't have much seat time in the pro-lite but what the hell...I am fortunate enough to be getting some support so I'm going for it! We are still ramping up our operation as far as haulers, logistics, etc., but I must say it is coming together nicely. I expect big things in '05!!I've raced with Sacio in the desert alot (we even won the 500 together) and I have been with him at the CORR races. Corr is awesome and I am hooked big time. I can't wait to get out there and swap some paint! cheers.

CORR racing is pretty intense and very addicting. We are fortunate to have a great TV package, but like most things, TV doesn't really do it justice. You gotta see it live to really appreciate it, and then you'll be hooked for sure.

Greg, looking forward to seeing you and Jen again. Anybody that's there, stop by the pit area and say HI. I'm camped with Rod Wells, Sportsman Stock driver #834, and also hang out with Hoeker's crew.

Introducing the Superlift Pro-2!

After almost 2 years of success in the CORR Sportsman 2 division the Ross Hoek Motorsports team is prepared to introduce the Superlift Pro-2 for this years Borg Warner challenge race at the Crandon International Off Road Raceway! The new engine and tire combination will be run on the world famous raceway for the first time for Borg Warner qualifying laps on Friday night.

After time trials the team will swap back to the Sportsman 2 engine to try to finish off the season with a couple more wins and a world championship ring! If all goes well the plan is to swap back to the Pro-2 engine for the Borg Warner race sunday afternoon.

What sounds like a lot of work at the race track will be well worth it in seeing how our truck can compete at the Pro-2 level. We are also finalizing plans to race the truck in the Pro-2 finals at the Unadilla off road raceway in New York. An experienced driver will be brought in to pilot the Superlift Ford so Ross can maintain his Rookie status until he can compete for the rookie of the year title!

Greetings to all,

If you are going to Crandon, be sure to look for our new 40' DIRTsports trailer being manned by Tim "Desert Bull" Sanchez. We will have hot-off-the press issues of the new magazine to give away to everyone.

In my humble opinion, I think the dirt nation will be impressed...
