Thanks man, that turn looks like it was a nice spot to shoot from! I ended up getting the F4L, its a great lense, really glad I picked it up.

Thats a sweet shot, where was that at? I was stuck pitting and taking photos at pit A the whole time. I wish i could have checked out some different spots and got some cool stuff like that. I really need to start bringing my own truck.

The map I had didn't have any mileage on it so I don't know what mile it was at. But if you headed south (opposite the race direction) from start/finish and followed the course about 2 miles the course turned left into the hills and this was down in the valley below. They were making this hard right turn in the middle of a sand wash. Being at the end of the lap the sun was going down pretty fast so I didn't get that many shots and some that I got the lighting was pretty bad and they didn't turn out. But I snapped a couple good ones.
