I live in temecula and it seems that more and more riding spots have houses on 'em now. does anyone know of any more spots to ride in the area. Been harassed by the cops off of anza and linda rosea (keg jump) u might know it. then by people real close to that but different spot. nothin left out at radio flyer (vail lake area from de-portala) now thats real tight over there. it seems the only place is the elsinore track and the dezert. Who knows sometin about cahuilla creek, isnt that around here somewhere. Just lookin for places to ride with minimal cop worry or anything.

Cahuilla is off 371. Take 79 South, left on 371, about 15 minutes north. Track is SWEET. Lots of hills, fun stuff. Riverside Co. passed a county ordinance for riding on private land. Couple friends have gotten nailed already by the wardens and sheriff. Go up to Lucerne and Barstow, or Ocotillo Wells. Not worth getting a ticket over.

yeah i heard about that law or what ever that was passed. Sounded like b.s to me isnt it somethin like you cant have more than 2 people riding on an area of at least 5 acres or something like that and that riders have to stay in the lower part of the terrain so they cant be seen? Ive heard of barstow being a pretty good spot. dont race (truck) teams do a lot of testing out there? what kind of terrain is it and whats the camping situation is it just like anyother desert like ocotillo or something

Anyone been out to Central Ave off the 15 in Elsinore lately? I have been there in years. Last time I went they had grading equipment out there. Looked like track homes were getting ready to be put in.

Thats funny you say that. I was just there this last saturday. It was the first time there and I didnt think much of it. Trash everywhere. Like a dump. Also some big piles of manuer. Really rutted out too. Probably wont be going there again. However i did like the Mapes Rd. Road sign I saw on the way back, seeing how Mapes is my last name.:)

What about that place on the east side of the 15 right off of Klinton Keith exit? That place looks like it might have some fun trails but it seems like it might be way to easy to get busted right there.

my ticket cost me $170 and they said they could give me a trespassing ticket too but said I was lucky and just gave my the $170 ticket. I told the ranger that how do I know that I was trespassing since there were no signs and no fences. He told me that I was just "supposed to know". There was also about 40 to 50 other people there riding. They only gave about 10 people tickets.

170$ huh. thats a pretty hefty fine. Umm as far as getting busted at the spot right off the 15 on Klinton Kieth... well its literally right off the freeway and in plain view so if riders arent supposed to be ridng there than yes they can get busted easily. But I dont know what the deal is, I see people there all the time.
