Has anyone tried to build a bike work bench lift. It doesn't seem to hard. I kind of have a design and hydraulic in mind. Has anyone got any lessons learned or plans they have used?

thanks,
Scott

You can buy one for a couple hundred bucks and it will lift the bike 3 ft or more in the air...

Not worth making as the materials and powder coat are going to cost you that, let alone your time to cut out the parts, bend, punch, and weld them...

I guess $250 isn't that bad. I don't like the fact that the bike has to be on a stand and the rear is hanging off. They have another one but that one costs $1000. That was more along the lines of what I was thinking of building.

I was gonna build one too, but if the price was rite I wasn't gonna bother. Ya see that pig on the $250 one, hell if it'll hold that a dirt bike would no prob. I didn't like the a$$ hangin off either.
