Mark Saturday, March 19 on your racing calendar. The first 2-hour Hi-Dex SuperCourse Desert Gran Prix in Cal City will be under way. It's an AMA-sanctioned event so you must have a current AMA card. You can go to the AMA site (javascript:redirect('https://home.ama-cycle.org/forms/newmemberapp.asp');) if you wish to obtain a membership or do so at race site. We'll have application forms. No BPMS membership required at this time.

Unfortunately, no District 37 points (too bad, they don't know what they are missing), but we will be paying BP MotorSports points towards the year-end championships. Awards will be held in January 2005 in Cal City. Major BBQ and party!

Visit www.bpmotorsports.net for more details. Entry form will be posted in a few hours. All classes of MCs and ATV and kids (shortened course for them). Let's bring back the FUN into the desert. Plenty of overnight parking at specific locations. We will post these.

Map of 10/12-mile course will be available to those who enter event. Entries open FEB 19, 2005. Postmark determines your starting order by class.

Checkpoints throughout and radio communications, with Med-Event off-road ambulance doing the race, plus course monitors.

This will be the first of the eight-event Hi-Dez Series at Cal City. We'll be switching courses and directions throughout the year.

More info soon.

Thanks.

I havent heard any mention of this from the D37 side...

"All competitors must be AMA members and District 37 members (if events are also D37 events).
D37 Points may be awarded by Overall and Class finishing positions, according to D37 structure."

Why is D37 required? These have nothing to do with D37.

What is the entry fee?

No D37 membership required. We had posted a lot of information on their forum but checkng tonight, it apparently has been taken out. Too bad. We wanted to be part of D37 but they don't like "promoters" I guess.

Nonetheless, please check our website: http://www.bpmotorsports.net for additional details. Entries open Feb 19, 2005.

Pass it on!

yeah some of the mods on d-37 are kinda anal about people posting other races. it just depends on who you are as to if you get moved, deleted or left alone.
