Robby got bumped out of the way during the final laps of his qualifying race by Kevin Lapage and missed making NASCAR's big show by one transfer spot. What a Bummer!

Yep - watched it live today, bummer for Rob - did anyone else see that massive crash caused by Harvick? What a total bummer for Mark Martin and Rusty Wallace.

7th in the 150 doesn't put him in the show?

I missed the race also but here's a good and small write up (which still didn't clarify wether robby is in or out for the 500)

Yeah, getting that flat front tire didn't help his cause any.He also had to pull his Menard motor and lease a DEI motor which ended up getting him in trouble because the motor change was not warrented. So,Nascar will keep his Menard motor....Ouch.But what is the deal with Harvick doing the Rookie move.Johnson didn't have many nice things to say.

I missed the race. What did Harvick do to make so many friends yesterday? I saw picks of the crash, but don't know the story.

Apparently not... But Andretti, all three Wallaces, and even Boris Said did make it in.

He drove up under the back of Johnson's car (who was leading) in the middle of a turn and spun him which also wadded Martin, Nemechek, Wallace, and more. Harvick actually said Johnson slowed and caused it! Check www.nascar.com - they have video of the wreck and of the other guys' reactions.

that might not be too bad, sure it sucks to loose a motor, but it was down on power to begin with. nascar is keeping the illegal manifold they got caught with in tech also, that didn't go over real well. heard it was visually pretty obvious.
bet that fine costs at least 50K alone.
sorry to see them miss the big show, but it's all part of the game. at least he is coming home wiht a car in one piece.could be worse. could miss the show and tear your equiptment up.
"there's always next year"
good luck to them in the bush race.
