Picked up a set of excel universals...very nice wheels and even better since you can swap them bike to bike with new carriers.

Double header this weekend...new wheels gotta be good for 2 or 3 spots!

how does that work with swaping them? Are the axels the same dia. and just the carrier's are different, or would you have to change the bearings to go from a 650 to a 450 or 250 ? I've been trying to decide on some newy's, but those HEX hubs are looking pretty good too.
Are you going to the 6 hr. this weekend and if so, what class? We'll be there

www.ftmbiz.com who is the main distributor of the wheels...I think they may machine the hubs and carriers as well...not sure though.

"Racing a Honda today and a Yamaha next week? Modular by design, Excel's patent pending PRO SERIES BILLET HUB and WHEELSET ASSEMBLIES are the ultimate in next generation Motocross racing wheels. Excel's Pro Series design features lightweight universal application billet aluminum hubs with interchangeable drive and brake carrier ring adapters for use on most of today's Motocross machines.

Universal Wheelsets
Excel Pro Series Wheelsets are universal by design and can be adapted to most new Motocross machines by using the correct modular Carrier Ring Adapter Set.

Excel pro Series Hubs are available in machined Silver or Gold anodized finishes. Both our proprietary 6061 T6 Billet front and rear hub design allows for the use of only 32 single swaged straight pull stainless steel spokes per wheel.

Carrier Rings are the key components of the Pro Series System.

Excel Wheelsets are the lightest on the market when compared to current 36 hole aftermarket billet hub/wheel sets and OE wheelset assemblies.

Modular carriers allow you to quickly and easily alternate your wheel/tire race sets for different track surfaces."
