Please help! My sisters just bought quads and while we just finished making a trailer for them I think it is retarded that there is no fuel shut off.

Does anyone know an easy way to shut the fuel off so I can stand them up in the bed of a truck? I don't really want the air filter covered in gas when they go to ride! Is it okay to just put an inline valve in? Is there a kit? Is there a piece that anyone knows of that fits in perfectly?

Thanks for the info in advance.

You don't need to worry about anything. Just leave it in the 'on' position and pinch the cap vent and you'll be fine. Just don't put it in the 'prime' position...that'll fillup your airbox quick!

no worries.............just leave it in the on position.

It will not flow fuel unless the engine is running..............I found the same thing on my wifes bike.

Well.... ours leaked when standing up so my solution was just what you all suggested. $10 and we can now stand them up. I have no idea why Suzuki took a step backward in this department but no big. Thanks for the help all.
