Kurt Busch Sponsors

Can someone explain to me why Kurt Busch keeps having a different sponsor on his car. Crown Royal, Irwin etc. What happened to Sharpie?

If one primary sponsor can only come up with a certain amount of sponsor money they will sign several primary sponsors and spread the paint schemes out through the year to make everyone happy.

Similar to RG's situation. Four Primary sponsors for 2005. All of which are designated to a particular race or races throughout the season. (Now all he has to do is "make the show")

the 97 is just sharing the love with a few very well paying companies. you will notice that there are a number of other teams that do it as well. gives them an oppertunity to do special programs with teh sponsors to hit them up for a few more million.
they will all get signage on the car year round usually, just rotate who's the major for the day.

I know that sometime teams change up the sponsors for a couple of races I just didn't think Sharpie would want to give up any advertising space on the defending champ...
