Just got back from the Super Chevy Show at LA Fairgrounds and was very disappointed in the turnout. I am not a drag racing fan and went more to get technical questions answered, catalogs and maybe used parts. I was suprised to find only a couple of manufacturers showed, only three or four people selling stuff in the swap meet area and only a fair showing in the car show.
For the drag fans, there seemed to be a decent collection of cars but even the pit area wasn't full. Maybe the $8-$12 to park and $22 to get in scared a few thousand people away. Too bad, this event used to a big happening but seems to be destined for extinction. Anyone elso go? Comments?

We used to race those but stopped a couple years ago. They never seemed organized enough to finish the bracket races. I waited an entire day in the staging lanes, got right up to the burnout box only to be told to shut down because they called the race due to darkness. Not fun. Like a clown paying to be in the circus.
