Does anybody know where I can get some parts magged in North San Deigo or Orange County?
We busted a front trailing arm at the MORE race, I guess we should have magged them prior.... but we need to mag the other three now to see if we should buy a complete set or replace the broken one.
Thanks for the info,

Call around..any local machine shop.
Every now and then I see some cheap mag components on e-bay too...Maybe you can do your own simple mag tests.

Can't help with the mag but sorry to hear about the DNF. What lap? I got to the race late (friend broke his jeep) and didn't see you ever. Ran the track when it was over, ROUGH STUFF.

Yeah I was looking for a baja with no doors while I was out there.
I drove the first two laps and then handed it off to BJ, it broke about 20 miles further (third lap). I guess he must have been beating it those 20 miles he drove :) :) :).
It was the first time on that course for us, I liked it alot. Fun race!

SPD does all our work. They can Tig/Mig the cracks as well.

Cool, I'll give SPD a call on Tuesday. Do you have to remove all paint prior to getting parts magged?? While I have it apart, I am going to have the spindles and brake drums magged as well. Thanks for the info guys,

Critical Operations does all forms of non-distructive testing and ultra-sonic cleaning of oil coolers and radiators etc. There in Santa Ana dial 411

Just wondering if anybody knew if I needed to remove the paint prior to getting the parts magged, if so I am going to wake up early and do them tomorrow.

Yes, sand blast the parts if you can. Paint can hide cracks.

We use HDS machine for our mag services. They are in Escondido off of Nordal you can see it from the 78.
And sand blast them before the process.
