Finished the prep yesterday. (Eric did) i was out there on monday and did a little wrenching on the bike. Thanks to Eric Pealstrom and his great prep work, the bike is done and Team Guilty is going to give it our best shot.

Good luck Marc! Hopefully the heat will break a bit. It was 108 in LAS today at my place and likely 112 downtown. It's 98 degrees at 2100hrs.

Can't find anything online yet about Friday results but some info from a phone call...

No real shake-ups in the top 7.

Still 1st-Johnny/Steve 2nd-Childress 3rd-Kendal/Robby

Apparently Robby pulled a section as fastest OA on time. To me that's impressive considering this is his 1st time racing this area of NV and all these other guys have raced these sections before many times.

I got this off the D37 board, says it's unoffical Day 2.

Surprising to see a Quad 10th overall, I know Wayne is fast, he must be on a mission.
I know what you mean about Robby Bell, I have been impressed by him for years and am finally glad he has a chance to show how fast he really is. I have watched him a Cahilla and been riding out in the desert with him several times, the boy is as smooth as glass and a great guy to boot. I believe Honda made a great choise putting him on the "B" team with Kendal.
His father Bob, of Precision Concepts Racing, and I grew up racing D38 in the 125 class, competing & teaming together in team races back in the mid 80's, they are great & humble people.
Go Robby, make D38 proud!

1-Johnny Campbell, Steve Hengeveld
2-Mike Childress
3-Kendal Norman, Robby Bell
4-Shane Esposito, David Pearson
5-Andy Girder, Christopher Blais
6-Nick Fain, Josh Wilson
7-Kellon Walch, Mark Coma ***w/28 minute penalty
8-Gil Grieve, Paul Emerson
9-Steve Pitts, Charlie Barney
10-Wayne Matlock, Chad Prull
11-Curtis Moon, Jamis Graham
12-Steve Bailor, Brett Stubbe

Kirk, what D37 site did you find that list?

Just talked to Diane Bell (pm Sat.)...

Order for Sat. - Johnny/Steve, Shane/David, KTM but I can't recall which one, Robby/Kendal.

Johnny/Steve have a pretty big lead. Sounds like they just need to take it easy for the last short race to get the win.

Kendal missed a marker and dropped a little time, that's why the got 4th for the day. Still in 2nd OA.

Shane/David gaining a little. Now 3rd OA.

Childress had a clutch problem and dropped some time.

Not sure of the Childres and KTM OA position.

Baja,
I just copied it off the District 37 message board, Off Road Catagory, Nevada 1000 Thread, 3rd page, entry #38. I don't know how acurate it is. Here is the link, I don't know if it works or not.
If ya talk to Diane again, tell her we are rootin for Robby.
Do you ever come down for the D38 races?

Best Regards,
Kirk
