the 521 crew's going at it again in the 0-30 class, I cant wait to get into those woops in the sand washes(my back hurts thinking about it). The Hawaiians get here tomorrow(fly into Vegas) then the drive down to get the 450 ready, should be a fun weekend, I hope they make it a little longer than 6 miles tho, thats the # I heard the other day.

Going out Fri. and leaving Sun., so if anyones staying Sat. night, come on by and have a cool frosty one, we'll be on one of the RV pads, it'll be the one with the display of a new truck bed tie down system ( Unlimited Dynamics), hope to see and meet some of you.

the 23 team won (dont know who they were, but they were fast all day)-- Mikey, Tilley,? on the 22 bike 2nd--the scoring once again sooked, dont know why they dont use the transponders like everyone else in the gran prix series does (Adalanto). Anywho, good day, fun course, and can hardly move my hands to write this. good X's, good X's

I'm a bit fuzzy on my details here, but here's some basics....

1st OA - crf450 - Dennis Stapleton, Gosselar (the little one), and some other super fast guy.
Won with about 7 minute cushion. The real thing for Honda Techs. pitting them....speaking Japanese and all. They spun wrenches faster than anyone I've ever seen.

2nd OA - crf450 - M. Childress, Mark Tilley, and another.
The other might have been Sean Collier. Collier was racing but I dont recall if it was on the Tilley bike or Schnell bike.

3rd OA - crf450 - Greg Schnell and a couple guys (maybe Collier).

6 or 7th OA, 1st 250, crfx250 - 101x B.500 bike - Salvador Hernandez, Alfredo Contreras, Jason Trubey, Luke Dodson.
Sal pulled a holeshot on all the Experts but got yarded with all the big uphills. Sal also had a super scary crash on the fly-by pit lane while in 4th OA - into/under the fence and bending the fence posts without any injury.
No real problems - ran outta gas 1 time just before the scoring chicane and lost maybe a minute pushing, about five wrecks, a broken off shifter after slamming into a lapper.

Quite a gang of Mexican nationals there - Besides Sal and Alfredo the score 300x guys were there (Nino Rojas, Arturo Salas, Rudy Iribe, and another), a Team from TJ, the Ruvalcaba brothers from Ensenada, a Team from Hermasillo, Bebo G. and his group, and more.
In the last hour Salas wadded big time and broke his wrist. Luke Dodson saw the entire wreck and said it was intense.

YES - transponders for the 6HR, 12HR, and 24HR!

It was probably Stapleton and Todd Gosselar...not sure on the third rider, maybe Jeff Willoh. They all do durability riding so they have more hours on CRF's than just about anybody.

Hide-san was probably the one you saw spinning the wrenches. He definitaly knows his way around a CRF!!

Glad everybody had fun. I was celebrating my first wedding anniversary or I would've been there!!! Hopefully I can put together a bike for the 24hr.

I seen that guy go under the fence, looked to be ok , just had trouble gett'n the bike untangled, looked like the throttle was stuck, or maybe some sort of tunnel vision goin on, don't know. Seen some cool pics on unlimiteddynamics site,

It's a little 250, for sure the throttle was stuck open -- on purpose! :D
He hadn't done one of these and apparently didn't realize it jogged left then right. Yeah, tunnelvision.
Some guy has the crash on video, he showed my wife. I gotta find out who the guy is cuz I wanna see it!

Just an edit/update to the thread.....
It was Stapelton, Gosselar, and Derek Mahoney, not Willoh
