ProLite susp.?

So I was watching CORR today on SPEED and I was looking at all the suspension moving around on the Pro-2 and Pro-4's and noticed the shocks. (big ones, lol) But I cant seem to figure out the size the ProLites run. Anyone know?

Right now there are two schools of thought on Pro-Lite shocks.

Either single 2.5" coil overs front and rear, or 2" coil holder and 2.5" bypass front and rear. As I see it there are pro's and con's to both methods.

With a single 2.5" coil-over only, you can save weight and complexity... but there are some tricks to getting the shock to NOT cavitate on the front. Also, the springs are not as cheap nor is their as good a selection of springs, compared to 2" coil-holders.

With a coil holder and bypass at each corner, tuning is easier. The whole set-up weighs more though.

Jeff Kincaid, Rick Huseman, and Kyle Leduc won all but one race last year with the coil holder/ bypass set-up. Art Schmidt won one race with the single shock per wheel method. This year, the majority of the wins are going towards the multiple shock per corner method. Kyle LeDuc's new truck has a single shock per corner, and has slowly worked from an ill-handling beast towards a decent set-up. According to his peers, his old truck handled better than his new truck does still.

Wow. Thanks a ton for the info. Also it seems like there is a good bit of engine trouble going on for LeDuc's truck. A result of a new vehicle/setup or just luck?
