He made some amazing passes at the end to get to that point along with driving through the field very clean. It was great seeing him get some very positive coverage about being the fastest guy on the track. Must make the sponsors happy. He has got his work cut out for him tomorrow in the cup race, hope he can make another great run.

One more lap of green flag racing and Robby would of had it. Great racing and paul Menard did a good job. It won't be the same tomarrow without Boris in the field and it is going to be exciting to see Robby come through the field.

Go, Robby. I saw a CNBC special on NASCAR earlier this week. They polled Nextel Cup racers on who they'd LEAST like to see in their rear view mirror. 40% of them said "Robby Gordon". Racing in my 2-1600, I think I'd agree with them.

ya , the coverage today definately kicked *** ... even Harvick had good things to say. The way he came thru the field today and at Infineon ... 39th wont be an issue ... just hope someone in the field doesnt take him out ..
on a side note .. Paul Menard is definately steppin it up .. think Menards engine program has stepped up quite a bit since sponsoring RGM's cup effort ? i do ...

No question about what 1 more lap would have done for Robby........
