Fact or Fiction,

I emailed the company, and this is the response it got "The Vortex Valve(tm) is completely guaranteed" It claims to improve gas mileage by 25 (or more)%. Has anybody ever used this product?
Thanks!

I believe it was Popular Science that recently did an article testing several different gas milage improving devices. None of them lived up to their claims. I don't know which of the turbulance device was tested, Vortex or Tornado, but it didn't work.

I was watching a comercial on speed for the vortex valve and they were talking about how the have them installed on 2 pikes peak cars. Both those cars had engine failures, I thought it was kinda funny. I think the nascar anouncer guy was driving one of them.

I read that same article...Water injection, this EBAY "Vortex" style, and I think another similar design was tested. Those are the ones I can remember...Don't waste your money!

Yeah, that's the one. It scares me that water injection systems can be sold "over the counter" like that.
