I thought the Helmet to the car was almost as good.

I got it all on my DVR, anybody know how I can download it to my laptop? All I saw was Waltrip still racing on a caution and Robby had clearly passed him before the accident. I agree with Robby, I never did like Waltrip and I think his NAPA commercials are as gay as they come

I am stuck at work and listening on the radio so I missed all the hoopla, who was at fault for the accident?

They showed really really bad replays of what happened, almost like they wanted to "protect" Waltrip from being at fault because with any other car they would have had at least 4 different angles, but the last thing I saw was from inside Waltrips incar rear camera and it showed Robby getting by with somewhat of an ease then almost instantly the accident behind them happens and the caution comes out, Waltrip said Robby was pushing him up the wall but Robby in his interview said he noticed it was caution and probably just wanted his position he had just earned while Waltrip was still "racing"
At least that's what I saw...

Coverage of the incident really was bad, but the in-car when RG threw his helmet at Michael Waltrip was funny. MW ducked down, as it might just go thru his window net.

What do you think Waltrip means by that? I take it that he was insulting Robby. And if so he is insulting all Desert racers. not cool!

In my opinion MW was at fault for the accident because the caution was already out and robby was clearly in front of waltrip but he kept racing
I think the helmet throw was pretty funny and i would probably do the same in that situation but if he hadnt done it, there would probably be a lot less heat on robby and more on waltrip. That was a pretty powerful throw, it looked like robby put every bit of energy into it, to bad it didnt hurt waltrips car

I read this on Yahoo! Sports
"Joe Nemechek and Mike Bliss collided on lap 191, sending Bliss into the wall on turn one. Seconds later, after the yellow flag was displayed, Michael Waltrip hit Robby Gordon, sending Gordon into the wall and spinning out Sterling Marlin. "

Anyone want to guess the fine he will receive from Nascar tomorrow for swearing on national TV. What ever happened to the 7 sec delay after the Earnhardt incident. Seems like a total conspiracy (as usual) against Robby. He will probably be the most fined Nascar driver this year after everything is settled

"First and foremost, I want to apologize for the words I chose immediately after our race had ended," Gordon said. "We had a decent car and we were obviously hoping to give our sponsors Jim Beam, Harrah's and Menards a top-10 finish. For some reason Michael obviously wanted that spot a lot more than I did because he flat took me out as I was cleared in front of him. I let my emotions get the better of me and I apologize. We bumped door to door when I went around him, and I don't know if that made him mad or what.
"I don't know what it is, but he puts the bumper to me a lot, and this time he did what he set out to do. We basically destroyed a great race car, and unfortunately it's the people that work in the shop that really suffer. We didn't deserve that at all."
For his part, Waltrip said Gordon passed him "like he was in the desert or something." Gordon's reply: "We were clearly a better car at that point than Michael, and he was going backward. I wasn't the only guy to pass him, just the one he decided to wreck. He's right about the desert comment -- I pass guys clean all the time in the desert, just like I did in this case. I'm just sorry we didn't bring home a better result for Jim Beam."

Hopefully they kick his butt out of Nascar. SO he can race where he is suppose to be ALL the time. " In the desert".

I would guess that RG will face a $25K fine for the helmet, $25K for the "$H!+" and 25 driver/owner's points for each item above and just because he is the one they always make an example of...A one race suspension and Probation for the remainder of the season.
I would bet Kasey Kayne will also get a one race suspension.

Kasey Kahne will get more. He maliciously went out to purposely hit Busch. I hope he gets what Robby does, boys need to grow up. It's a racetrack, not the local Demo Derby.
Robby is passionate, I'll give him that. He's very consistant as well. The incident with Waltrip is typical of the "old school VS. new school" in NASCAR. Poor Michael can't even get a decent haircut with all the $$$ NAPA pays him.

Even if RG gets disqualified all year at least he still has a ride next year, Waltrip is still "shopping" but sounds more like nobody wants him
I think it's conspiracy, they should have shown all angles of that wreck instead of how the "top 10" were doing, they have to have had better coverage especially since they were racing for 4th...

its obvious that at this point people are just messing with the price and making deadbeat bids, the price is at $8,000,400.00 thats way to much money to seem believable
plus people were making bids for a million plus more than the previous bid...its a cool idea for robby but it looks like people have screwed with it...to bad
