Okay I just found what has to be a typo too funny considering all the talk about Enduro's HP numbers..

LOS ANGELES— When it comes to racing SCORE Trophy-Trucks in next month’
s 38th Annual Tecate SCORE Baja 1000, nobody does it any better than the teams
of Dan Smith/David Ashley and Brian Collins/Larry Ragland. When it comes to
racing SCORE Trophy-Trucks anywhere, nobody does it any better than brothers
Tim and Ed Herbst and the Smith/Ashley duo.
Now, SCORE Trophy-Trucks, the high-tech, 8000-horsepower unlimited
production trucks

Awww yes well its simple to get 8000 reliable horespower out of a TT you call NASA and a billion dollars later you have a 8000 HP 70 in of travel TT that wont break. Ha HA thats to funny, wonder how hard that would be to drive.

Good Luck on the the Fuel Plan. The MPG on 8000 HP...you would be getting like 18 gal. to the 1/4 mile on nitromethane. What a typo

i talked to enduro yesterday. dave/dan/mike/dick are not shooting for 8000 hp yet - they want to make sure they are reliable at 1500 first...

sorry - i couldn't resist...

Obviously a typo, but how did they mix up pounds with horsepower? :)

I also heard they are developing a new truck and every single part is about twice the size of normal. BFG has a 74" project tire in the works for it as well.....

I have always wondered why one of these teams or companies with more money than they know what to do with haven't tried it yet. imagine how insane that would be....

The Enduro trophy truck started as a single seater Savage chassis - not a pro-truck chassis.
