I know that you guys are going to be doing a lot of prerunning down there and i was wondering what would be the best place to spectate with the easiest access and still be in the day time, when they come through. Thanks

Fast guys will come though San Felipe in daylight which offers excellent spectating.
If you want to see the slower classes in daylight, best find a spot before they
head off to the summit. Lots of good places after RM75 with non-racetrack access.

I am going to the race this year, and might be heading out ot San Felipe but where are they going to be going through??? And also is this course a 700 mile course or are they doing two laps?? Stupid question but My first time going and I was not to sure. If I do not go to San Felipe I am planning to go to Santo Tomas but is there good spectating places over there were it wont be soo crowded??? Thanks

Being your first one thousand I wouldn't recommend going to St.Thomas, you'll be there too long before you see the first car/truck and it will probably be late in the afternoon or dark by then.

San Felipe is your best bet, the saying right now is not too many cars will make it out of San Felipe. Before or near San Felipe would probably be the best way to go for a first timer.

The only reason I would be going to San Felipe is because My dad and I got asked to go help a Riviera Racing with both trucks and to pit for him out there, but Its the convincing I would have to do to go out there and him and I have never even been to S.F. and we dont know how we would got there soo It will be Fun wherever we go!!!

What a question to be asked !!!

Maybe ask if they have anyone going down to that spot, I am assuming you two wont be the only ones for Riviera going there. I would say have fun, but that is kind of an under-statement for the 1000. :)

i agree, the best spots, easy to access, plenty of time to see the leaders and back to Ens to see the winners.
