SCORE & BFG have done a great job at this year's course! Outstanding.
Here are a few photos..one heading up the Summit trail and some others including a couple of the NBC camera guy, Mr. Al, who fell out of Clyde's 4-seat directly into a huge cholla bush. He had a couple hundred cholla needles in his legs, back and hip. Dr. Pistol Pete Sorhen performed cacti surgery removal and then the other camera man showed the deep love for his friend posing for these shots. Al Hogan and his buddies in the Bronco heading up the Summit road are photo'd here as well.

DB, thanks for posting those pics. I can relate to that. I landed in a cholla or two down there myself......Those needles were still popping out of me months later!

that is the new and improved "pistol prerunner" with body update kit, not the real #2, race is going to be gnarly!! you must have top notch equipment and prep to tackle this years course, just my two cents

How long did it take? 4 days for our DA cruise around the 709 mile 1000.
This one is going to be tough and take some people out. The Trophy Trucks have a hard enough time finishing San Felipe and now they have to do that course plus the Summit and the yummy Simpsons section of the Mikes loop! The sand s turns on the new section from Puertacitos Rd to Matomi are sweet.
High and low lights from the buffoonery this weekend………..Some of the crew still being up when we came down to leave Ensenada……Pistols rider Kyle flipping his new 100k pre runner at Pre run mile 10……Desert Bull Tecate stand at RM 125, soooo sweet……PAB out of gas 8 miles from Borrego in the dark…..Matomi soda stop at the narrows…...Burgess and the crew got a little scary at Mikes Sky Rancho on Sat night…..A arm fold up on Greg D’s car and repair at two hour El Coyote stop….Getting to Sun lunch stop at 6pm……Juan’s taco palapa at Erendia….Danny’s tire catch as it flew out of the blowhole for Pistols $50!....Clyde with the overall win on the pre run….taking Indy Car series Infinity Pro Series driver Travis Gregg to Baja for his first time…..
Story and photos to come at desertassassins.com by Wed…..

Cameron, did you get the leafspring repaired on the trailer in San Felipe? Had some good conversation with PAB Sr. in Borrego, he's a great guy!
