Have you guys seen the new Nissan comercial? Does it not freak'n ROCK?! Best part is it's not just a subject specific comercial, i saw it the other day watching CSI.

Yeah, I saw it... There is also a chevy commercial running with a old class 4 truck in it.

I think that scene with the old Chevy Class 8 is part of a series of gorgeous TV spots directed a while back by Peter Bloomfield. I worked with Bloomfield on Nintendo spots in the eighties. He knew I was into dez racing and sent me a director's cut of the best scenes. Lots of big air and sand flying with the sun in the background. Curtis Guise tried to get permission from General Motors to use some of it in a DP video with no luck. It's all on tape, not digital, so I doubt it can be easily posted.

Anytime are beloved sport is shown in a possitve light
in any major media. It opens the door for for more sponcership
and more media coverage! its a win-win!

Lets hope this trend continues grow!..........Just my 2 cents

It looks as if Nissan is ramping up to become a major manufacture to sponsor a team in the desert. They are already involved, with their race sponsorships and supporting their teams in CORR. With Renezender (sp?) in the desert now, I wonder how long before we see Nissan Racing as a corporate race team? Would be nice to get the big dogs out there again! With corporate teams comes network coverage......... Network coverage gets the rest of us more sponsership options. Remember the mid 80's thru the mid 90's! Good times!

Ill second that, the other cool one is from Toyota Tacoma when they re camping or in the desert and a Meteor hit the truck, that look fricking real.

Ok what new nissan comercial ? The only off road one I have seen is where dad drags the brats er I mean kids out to the dunes and trucks come busting over in what looks similar to a CORR race. Thats at least a year old though.
