Tim is looking for the extra footage that his friend (the director) sent him. If he finds it I will post it up.

Didn't they make an Imax film with a lot of this footage? I remember seeing at an Imax theater that they were showing an off-road film that had a lot of the old chevy race trucks.

Old school and I loved it. Brings me back when ESPN had race coverage with Dispain.

Larry Raglands's Class 8 Truck (Butch) built by Nelson & Nelon and Ricky Johnson's MTEG Stadium truck also built by Nelson & Nelson. You are also right about Little Mac.

Flannery's Class 4 truck has the smoked plexi-glas hood bubble. I say Class 4, not Pro 4, because it predated Corr and ran under SODA. You West Coast guys missed some of the most wild racing. Flannery's truck was running over six hundred cubes. It had two towering tunnel-ram manifolds, with a pair of Domimators on top. It wasn't uncommon in those days to be pushing 800-1000hp. Kinda reminded me of the early days of Can-Am racing. Big blocks a plenty and no limits. Todays stuff is cookie cutter compared to those days. Crandon was an awsome place for these things to run.

where can we buy the commercial clip?
Jim, you can't buy it anywhere. and why when its here to see. I think all you need to do is either update or download Quicktime if you don't already have it. go to www.quicktime.com and install it for free. then click on one of the above links. do the first one if you have a slower internet connection.
hope that helps.
