Robby has always ran good at PHX...But it was much nicer not sweating the end of the race having a motor blow to the sky.

Makes my day so much better!!! I'm so tired of all my roommates, fans of 88,29 and 42 having good weekends while I'm wondering if I'll even be able to watch the race!
Good run, I hope he keeps it up at Homestead!

I do believe he's is not actually running at homestead, in another article/interview here on RDC it says that Gordon is suiting up to race the whole Tecate Score Baja 1000 cuz he wants a win in the 1000. He hasnt had a win in the 1000 since he overalled in cl8 back in 89'.

Class act by Robby to let the 48 back around and keep the points closer.

In the back of my mind I was hoping he'd stay in front of him but I'm glad the 48 by to stay in the chase

"He let the 48 go by" Nope JJ dive bombed him and stuck it. RG don't give nothing away on the track. JJ took it.

The guys gave me a great race car. We were better than the #48. We passed the #48. Me and Jimmie go a long ways back so I figured I'd help him out if I could.

Robby is quoted as saying he is running Homestead but allowing Paul Menard to practice and qualify his car. (Winston-Salem Journal 11-11-2005)
He DID tell Andy that he wasn't however..............Andy wouldn't make that up.
Woo HOOO Robby!! That 8th place finish was just as good as a win! Yayeah!!

Now I wish I had gone to Phoenix! I probably would have jinxed though since I was hoping for a top ten finish...

Lot's of air time for RG good to see what many of us know that he can run with the big dogs in NASCAR. A buddy at the race said he thought it looked like Robby let JJ back by but at the time I thought no way. Yeah that's right I'm another RG fan and here's to a great run in the B1K to go along with the 500 win.

good solid run for him & the team. was nice of him to let the 48 get the few extra points right at the end.
he did a good job staying out of the points leaders way.

May I ask a silly question? If any of you guys were in the position that Robby was with the Chase thing, would you have allowed a competitor to go by? Just wondering what the dichotomy is in Off -road as opposed to the Chase in Nascar.
(...and what the flip is NOL? Slap Dixie? ROFLMAO) Hemp, fly likes him a little too much.;)

Yes RG did say that. Had it on JJ's track pass scanner. Guess on the white flag lap he told his spotter to tell JJ's spotter. .....They told him to hurry up, he's gonna let you by...
RG told his crew....."you're gonna hate me for this but I'm gonna let him by...."
So in your love for RG I guess you need to eat your words! Looks like he is a good guy after all...Isn't he?

WEAK! Never said he wasn't...your love of him just freaks me out.
I was just pointing out the fact that I guess you don't know him as well as you thought....don't try and pretend now that you knew he said that or that you listened to it on track pass...you had no idea he said that!
