Check out the video on the front page of http://www.vtcar.com/ I think Travis likes crashing a little too much. The "are you alive" comment didn't go over to well with the co driver from the sound of it.

Just saw it on ESPN. What a dumbass. I need to figure out how to get people to build things for free so I can go wreck them.

Your not supposed to be happy when you roll, and here I thought Jesse James was the one to worry about at Baja, good thing Pastrana didn't end up driving.

I'm glad I'm not the only one thinking like you guys. What is Pastrana doing in a rally car fully sponsored and LEADING THE SUBARU TEAM??? "LEADING"??? Let the guy take freestyle motorcross to the next level but why put another guys life in his hands?

What a typical RDC response from a bunch of bitter bench racers. This is exactly what Kash was talking about in the other forum and why you would never see people like TP post here or why other racers don't either. They have to take flack from guys like you.
Travis and Christian are very good friends and TP was panicked that he was hurt and thus why he was asking if he was "alive".
TP was "happy" because look at what he and his co-driver had just survived. Its called adrenaline.
And the reason the wreck occurred was because he overshot the turn and instead of sliding off the road a little there was an open ditch right off the road the caused him to flip. It was subsequently taken care of as it was a dangerous situation.

So, just cause some guy started a thread about big racers having better things to do than post on RDC, now everyone is supposed to kiss *** everytime even the lowest level celebrity jumps into something with a motor? Uh, sorry dude, not gonna happen.

travis
why did you not quote partybarges reply? Is it cause hes a "real" racer? or cause he helps a "real" team? his was just as harsh as the other "bitter bench racers" comment.
i personally think TP is awsome to watch from the stands a safe distance away from the track but id fore sure be scared to be near the track if he was in a four wheeled vehicle. Also as to why "real" racers dont post here i think its cause they have PR guys such as your self who are paid to make stupid/bad things they do look peachy. Just cause he can sell product doesnt mean hes the best person to do something. even though thats what his only job is to do.
It would be nice to see a "real racer" respond to a stupid comment made about him/her for once. its the computer its not like they actually have to do much but push a few keys. I also think that if they did do this they would gain respect from the "bitter bench racer". man up admit you messed up or did something wrong publically thats the ultimate thing to do to get respect in my opinion.

Uhhh, He did quote Me. Second one down......
I would say the same thing about our driver if He had that kind of record in a car. Actually, if I had to fix the truck that many times I'd probibly be inclined to kick him in the nuts. He knows this which is why he tries really hard not to make bonehead moves like that (not counting SF).........
As the wise man once said, to finish first, first you must finish.
Now everybody relax, Go put some more gel in your hair Travis.....
