Sparling Instruments in El Monte, California is looking for local shops to handle some welding projects asap. The work involves welding pre-cut flanges and round pipe for their metering instruments. Materials are high-carbon steel pipe sections up to 24" diameter, .312" wall, with a flange thickness of around 1". The individual pieces will weigh in excess of 500 lbs each when assembled, but not be more than 5 or 6 feet in length. They want to drop off the pre-cut pieces and and pick up the completed assemblies as soon as they are completed. Welding Certs are not required for this work.
