Desert Racers On The Pavement

Here are a few names I have seen in the pavement racing series recently. Not only were these guys fast in the dirt, they are making a name for themselves on the pavement.

Its great to see all these off-road racers going to pavement and proving to the rest of the world that off-road racers are some of the most talented drivers out there. Justin Lofton is one hell of a driver on dirt or pavement. I have been Justin's co-rider in all but 2 off-road races he has been in. Together Justin, Matt and I won the 2004 BITD class 10 Chamionship, Rookie of the Year and almost the BITD overall points title. I can say he has the talent to go far. Not only that he has promised me that he will not forget his roots like Jimmy J has. Trust me I wont let it happen! Justin's future is in Nascar, but he hopes to be able to do like Robby does and we can do a few off-road races a year. His father Bob is partners with Mike Julson in the Jimco TT and Bob is also building a new Jimco 2 seat 1 car. Hopefully in the future Justin and I will get an opportunity to race the new 1 car.

Even though most of my cheering is for Justin, I will always cheer for the off-road racer that is proving to the world that we can race anything and win.
