Just checking as I didn't know if he'd be going down for this race seeing as #1 its a road course, and #2 his likely popularity south of the border...

Thats interesting, I thought he might go for it considering like slandid said, he is a road course specialist, but also they have a week off in the Cup series. On his website it Says "In 2006 Robby Gordon Motorsports will run select NASCAR Busch Series events." Maybe they have decided to Nix this. Oh well, would have been fun to see him down there anyways.

I know he is going to run Busch at the Glen. He is attempting to focus 100% on cup. he want's to put his team 100% on track before he thinks about anything else. The only outside things on the plate right now. I think there may a tiny chance that if he is good in the cup standings come May he will be taking a seat in a AGR car for Indy. B500 for sure B1000 for sure.

Thx. for the update...Sounds like a good plan for RG...Would love to see him up front in NASCAR, IN THE CHASE...certainly he is earning it.

I doubt Robby is taking this week off. He is not going back to N.C. Between the CA race and Vegas. I imagine he will be working hard in his offroad shop and possibly prepping Andy's car for next weekend, but heck this is all just speculation.

So like i said he is taking a week off from racing lol

I am sure he is running around doing stuff, he almost always is. With all that he has going on I dont think he afford to just completely take a week off everything
