I found this on Jayski.com:

Celebrity Crew Chief for Robby at Vegas:
To launch Harrah's Entertainment's premier event of the 2006 season with Robby Gordon Motorsports, nine-time World Series of Poker champion Phil Hellmuth, Jr., will bring his best bluff and tough call tactics to the No. 7 Harrah's team as celebrity crew chief for the 400-mile event in the Vegas desert. With Hellmuth by his side, crew chief Greg Erwin hopes to raise the odds for the team to cash in on their first win at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Sunday's UAW-DaimlerChrysler 400 is the first event of the 2006 campaign where Harrah's will be the primary sponsor of the #7 Chevy. Jim Beam, Menard's and CarLoan.com will serve as associate sponsors.(Robby Gordon Motorsports PR)(3-8-2006)

Also on a side note I was watching Speed News on Sunday evening and they were interviewing Rusty Wallace about him driving an Indy car just for the experiance as he is the new ABC comentator for the IRL. He said he gives a lot of credit to drivers like Tony Stewert and Robby Gordon for being able to drive these types of cars and stock cars. He said that he thought Robby was probably the most talented at being able to adapt to getting into any type of car and being competitve. Rusty's quote: After this experiance Robby has gained alot off respect from me.

Was just watching him on SpeedTV and he mentioned something I hadn't even thought of....That he has penalty clauses with all his sponsors so that he has to give money back to his sponsors if he doesn't make these races...I can't imagine th e pressure he's under each week to make these races...if he doesn't make the races no only does he have to give the money back to sponsors but then he doesn't get the money from the race itself...Ooooo...they just mentioned his offroad racing...He was mentioning PRIMM and other Vegas racing, and Dakar as well...

Qualified 32nd finished 12th, not bad AT ALL!!! Robby is moving up this year, looks like the DEI motors are really helping this season. They talked about Robby on the broadcast for a good 3-4 minutes about how he is a driver/owner and how hes focused and confident and how he is doing aot better. Great news!!!

Great interview on Saturday I got home around lap 60 to see Fox keying on RG and how he was doing great call on the tires with 3 to go and for not speeding on pit row (#8). Good idea for the June race maybe we can coordinate tickets for turn 2.

Off the board last week, I had one last week in the hospital and I got to get out in the slop today and ride for the 1st time in 5 months. Thanks for all the support.

Besides the DEI motors has anyone noticed how much RG's pit crew has stepped up this year? Great insight on how he is one of the last cars through tech and it delays practice and how he cannot afford to push the limits on car set up for qualifying. He wasn’t whining he made it clear how his team has moved up to the challenge.

Thank god it is not like last year when you were waiting for the motor to grenade. Good solid race for Robby and moving up in the points is a plus. Good exciting finish for all except Kenseth. Only a couple to go and Robby can open it up and not worry about making the program.
