Gary and I ordered 2 new pro -2's from North American off-road. We hope to be testing by October. We are having new engines built by Dougans Racing engines in Riverside Ca. Our plans our to make the first race of 2007 with Corr. We will look forward to anyone stopping by and hanging out with our team. We have hired a full time "crew chief",Wes O. and he is now very busy. We are appreciative to everyone who is helping us and Ricky G. will be taking us to lunch AUGUST 15TH. We will keep and race our TT thru 2006 and see what we can do for 2007. Goodyear Tires will be supporting our TT and both Corr trucks.

so is Mark Porter from Porter Race Cars, and if so, why did he race in a Geiser TT and not a Porter?

are those spec chassis? They look nothing like a CORR pro 2. i stare at a Greaves/Dutchman pro 2 several times a week and they look nothing a like it.

Are they going to be Suburban bodied or Excursion? Or is the rear section for cooling only?

easy guys, once they get the ride height down about 10" they'll look a little less like a TT
FWIW, NAOR cranked these out, but if you want to COMPETE in CORR in 07 buy from a builder with experience. Probst has built more pro-2's than anybody. baldwins have built a few, then there are several proven one-offs on the track, mine, the dutchmans, baudoux's, leduc's, and greaves can build one. all these guys can build a truck that can compete at the first race.

Ross,
I think Tony has a couple wins in Pro-2 this year. Hasn't Carl Renezeder won in his?

I wasn't criticizing any thing they got great tires and the best shocks money can buy. they just look different then a spec chassis. that's all i was pointing out.

So, no more TT races for the Dircks/Porter team? (maybe a new TT for the future)

Are you talking the lower frame rail?

August 25th, 2006, 05:46
i think matt was refering to the amount of room in the back of the 2 trucks. they are built much bigger than most corr trucks. personally i'd love to see them on the track in a SUV body, ive considered it for years already!!
i'm sure the 2x3 rail matches the corr print.

they will definitely look intimidating against any pro truck ive seen. an excursion body would be perfect, or a short bus.
Anubis

im all for the short bus idea.....
