What happen today? A few interesting things that include:
Pro-2 Whelchel did not practice and had motor issues---Rousch motor was not delivered in time so they sent two guys to Detroit (14 hours round trip) to pick up the new motor this afternoon and upon return the Whelchel pit will be raging to stuff the new motor into his rocketship.
Pro-4 FABTECH's Huseman ---- Ouch, Will be on fire after a solid practice in his new Pro-4. This thing is wicked.
Pro-4 Scott Douglas --- Problems on the track where he was stopped and then got going and then was stopped and then pulled off...no ideas but it is a new Pro-4 truck
Pro-2 Greg Adler --- Holy Smokes off the big jump landing on his rear bumper...SCARY!
Pro-4 Troy Herbst & the Terrible Herbst Crew are not here. Troy is sitting in second place in the Championship Pro-4 Series points race...
Pro-2/4 Josh Baldwin looked great. Motors sound VERY Good!
Pro-2 Rhonda Konitzer in the Baldwin # 18 Pro-2...spun out, lapped and left scratching her head.
Pro-Lite Kyle LeDuc pulled off during practice with unknown problem...it was resolved in the pits with a five-gallon plastic can filled with go-juice...
Pro-Lite John Marking - Solid after the first two laps checking out the track.
Pro-Lite Chad Hord - New FOX Racing Shox setup with new shocks---was better than in Crandon! Will be very tough this weekend. His Nissan is raging.
Pro-Lite Robert Naughton - Ran fast and is working through the night making his truck better...This guy never sleeps!
Pro-Lite Jeff Kincaid - May just check out on everyone as he has the Greaves / Potawatomi different league syndrome. Super Fast
Pro-Lite Rodrigo Ampudia- Papa's N Beer truck looked great / Great Prep by Luchero of Ensenada and should have no reason not to run up front
Pro-2 Travis Coyne raging big in practice looking very fast and smooth---classic Coyne
Pro-2 Ross Hoek fitted with new FOX shocks and ran fast-fast-fast...strong motor.
Pro-2 Todd LeDuc...Strong run, Cool, Calm and Strategizing
Pro-2 Scott Taylor---Ran good and should be strong
Pro-4 Curt LeDuc ran in front of Greaves and finally let the charging Greaves by
Pro-4 Johnny "On The Edge" Greaves ---- In a different league! Fast and afterwards smiling....BIG!
Later....Bark River is 3-hours ahead of West Coast time.
