You can subscribe/unsubscribe to threads, is there a way to do essentially that with whole forums?
There certain forums that I don't pay any attention to, and would like them to not show up in a new posts search. I've poked around the user's CP a bit and not seen anything that looked like it would do this.

Thom, once you get Klaus to offer this feature maybe you can get him to let us "turn off" a particular poster. Not that there is anybody in particular that is waisting my time trying to build up their post count, but I'm sure there are some that would turn me off.

If you click on a persons public profile there is a option on the ride side of the profile to "ignore posts by this user."

To add my own opinion, I've found it pretty useful in the past but sometimes you find yourself not understanding a conversation if they are a part of it.

I am unaware if such a feature, however the next version of this forum software will have the ability to mark an entire forum (Example Forum Look out) as read with a single double click. Perhaps that will help.

Thanks, Klaus.

I did discover that instead of laboriously marking each forum as read that the "Quick Links" pull down has an option that appears to mark all forums as read. That helps a little anyway.

We loaded a newer version of the forum just now and one of the new features answers what you guys aked for.

You can now flag forums as read by double-clicking the "red rdc" logo http://www.race-dezert.com/forum/images/firefox/statusicon/forum_new.gif turning it into a "grey rdc" logo http://www.race-dezert.com/forum/images/firefox/statusicon/forum_old.gif without opening and reading the forum.

Hope that makes things easier.

Yea! Not exactly what I was thinking I wanted, but it will do the job. Thank you!

The gif's for the RSS feeds are missing, down on bottom left of the page.

All the work seems to have made the site faster, Great job and thanks to all who make it happen..

Looks like everyone lost their coveted Green Dots, including you, Klaus - you're now a mere mortal like the rest of us.
