my best guess is that Staats will keep the orange prophy truck, and just run 2 TTs in BITD. i think another related Staats runs a portruck in BITD as well. its the "air force one" truck. blue, orange, and silver

Dircks and Porter TT the old La Victoria RG ranger is at mirage in Santee i thought that they had bought it but i guess there just prepping it for Staats is that correct?

tell you what anyone who wants to keep their trophy truck engines well lubricated while waiting to sell it adn to keep cobwebs from building on them while sitting in a corner of the shop, ..give me a call..I will go out and start it everyday to keep the engine well lubed and will drive it fast enough to keep cobwebs from sticking ...at a small fee to cover gas cost...

from what i was told, Kory wants to sell that and just run his Jimco Class 1 now. the costs are just cheaper running a class 1 car

The prep and the parts for a class 1 are much cheaper than a TT.

But, depends on what Trophy Truck and what Class 1 car.

The Herbst Truggy is probably more prep and more expensive than your "basic" 2 seat Jimco Class 1 (like Mark McMillin's car, Kory Sheeler's car, or Brian Parkhouse's car)

But Both Class 1 cars.

We did indeed buy the Dircks and Porter TT and raced it at V2R. We had some issues with the fuel system and loaded it on the trailer at Pit 6. Kudos to D&P and Geiser Bro's who did work on the front end. It handles like a dream! We sold our Prophy/Prick truck to Robbie Pierce from Mastercraft. He is aiming to race it for the first time at the Baja 1000.
