I want to thank and acknowledge the folks that put on the CODE race this past weekend. I towed my truck down from Merced to get my SCORE inspection on Friday. I hadn't planned on doing anything but leaving it in socal to get some longer front springs and new shocks, when Ramsey El Wardani mentioned the CODE race. So I figured, what the hay. I think the SCORE folks could learn a lesson or two from these folks, starting at registration. I entered at close to 11:30 p.m. I preran the course the next morning at 6:30 a.m. It was a nice mix of terrain and speed. I entered Class 8 since there weren't any Class 3's. The race was short for me because the guys that replaced my transfer put in the wrong fluid and it started to make noise by rm 5. All in all, it was a lot of fun and the people were very accomodating.

Yep! I have more fun at the CODE races than any other. They put on great races and bend over backwards for the racer. The prestige is at SCORE, but the fun is good old Mexico CODE races. I hope to see you down here some more.

I had to work, maybe that's why the truck was so fast. Glen Straightiff of Complete Fabrication drove the first heat, Dean Bayerle drove the second. They lost a break line which slowed them down and they were having Carb problems all day so they couldn't get full throttle out of it.

The CODE races are always great, with more than 100 cars per race, there is a lot of fun, is cool to be in differents places (San Luis, La salada, San felipe, Jacume) and not only in one place.

VIVA Mexico!!

Yeah. The head staff at CODE is doing their best to put it on good races and to have fun courses.

We all had lots of fun at Jacumé.
