I own a '90 toyota pickup and it seems that every year I have to do something with the U-joints. I get noise, vibration, the list goes on. The last time there was a big problem just getting the old ones out. Completely seized up. I read in an offroad mag years ago that putting a CV joint in instead of one of the U-joints would help with the problem. Is this true? Is there any other way to stop this problem? The angle seems good. Any and all thoughts on this matter will be greatly appreciated.

P.S. My truck vibrates more than most message chairs.

if your angles are good, i'd suggest taking your truck to a driveline shop to see if the drive shaft is balanced properly. your yolk might also be damaged or bent.

Is it 4x4 or 2 wheel drive? I dont really know much about yota's...but jeep wranglers have that prob.(most yj's) if u have ever thrown your u-joints that shaft that is in the transfer case will bend a lil bit...and then after that you will go through u-joints like crazy...so like i said dunno much about yota's...so if that t-cases are similar then u can check that also..
