What are your guys thoughts on this brand of oil filter? I have been using Toyota brand filter's but recently have used one of the K&N but I sold that vehicle so I didn't really get to see how I liked it after a long term use. Seems to have some nice features. Its say's 550 PSI Hydrostatic burst pressure, has a drilled end "cap" for safety wire/racing apps. Those were just a few off the top of my head. Just looking for some info and I use Mobil 1 5w30 full synthetic and change oil about every 3 to 6k miles. Sorry if this has been brought up b4, thanks.:)

They are one of the best.
You could use WIX, Mahle, Bosch or other top end brands too.
But for support in this sport, with the contingency program and all,
they are a brand worth looking at.

Keep the greasy side down...

What exactly does K&N claim as the advantage of using their oil filter?

David Vizard in his engine building books says k&n are the best, with the Fram HP filters second. They are better because they can take higher pressure, and have better filter materials, etc.
