There is also D.O.A (http://www.doaracingengines.com/) I have never delt with them though but you can check them out.
But I think L.C. is the standard and most racers go through them

my freind bought a top end kit for his 22re motor. Good amount of extra hp but amazing throttle response fuel economy very pleased.
I ordered a bolt on kit for my 3rz wich was in a magazine it had a new K&N style filter, new cams, flex fans, new headers which didnt fit cos the middle east model is different but we banged it into place :D and a short shifter which is good fun.
A little expensive but you can see the quality. Performance gains where good mostly due to cams and headers (a tip is to call them and tell what you are going to use your youta foe and they will custom build the cams for high HP or low end torque) and the k&n filter makes a nice sound. Flex light dosent make much diferents but i like that you get to take the fan off the block the short shifter is great fun turns this farm vehicle into race car.

LC can be a little expensive at times, but the little extra money is well worth the product. Our motor rocks, never knew a 4cyl was capable of that kind of performance.
