1835 vw motor with bus tranny?

Hi i have a 1835 vw motor with a bus tranny, some one told me that it is not good to run them together, and that i will ruin the tranny. any help would be great!!

Depends on what style bus box and how hard you drive. My race car had this combination and I had no problems.

I've got an 091 bus box in my 4 seater with a 200HP Toyota Tacoma motor pushing it and my trans works GREAT!!! Anything under 300HP you can use a bus box, anything over you better be looking at a Mendeola.

I run a 002 box behind a turbo 2.5 subie. It's not a race car but I pre-run with it. No problems yet.
