Motel room in San Felipe Race night

I was wondering what you guys think the chances are of me finding a Motel room the night of the start of the Race?

I'll be chasing up to San Felipe & plan on hanging out there drinking & eating some good food when I'm done assuming anything is still open at that hour...

But since I'm going into this blind last minute sorta thing, I'm wondering http://thewebwheeler.com/forums/images/smilies/6.gif, I'm I likely to be sleeping in the back of my chase truck on the side of the road somewhere? :o

I would think there would be rooms in San Felipe. The race is continuing on past there and most racers plan to be in la paz. Start calling and see what's available. Hotel phone numbers on the score website. I plan on sleeping in my truck anyway. Much more rugged and manly....:p

& If I go alone I'd feel to much like a Target for Banditos or whatever if I'm in the back of my open Bronco sleeping with my supplies out side allowing room for me to sleep.
