Find out how to put some dump cans on it and you have an emergency chase vehicle.

There were 2 of them racing at the BITD AVI 150 race last Saturday. One finished, one DNF'd. The guys are from Colorado Springs. Kinda cool for Casey to let them participate with us. The mobiles have around 130hp each and the rear suspension/swing-arm actually seems to work really well. One was a twin cylinder and the other a triple. They said they work pretty good in everything but the rocks.

I ride a long track sled in the hills all winter. The snow can deffinatly get hooped out on well traveled trails so I know they can take the bumps. In the snow you can throw them around in 3 feet of fluff easily but hard pack you fight it. Those guys are tough dudes. Those sleds are gonna take some strength to deal with in the dirt.
The whole rear track guide and suspention carriage is aluminum. Not gonna want to be hitting rocks.
Those sleds are around 600lbs

Talking to the guy he said they can do 70+ mph over 2 ft whoops with no problem. Dont know if that was the truth but at the start of the AVI 150 he ate up the quads at the start.

I took an old Yamaha Enticer out to Glamis once. Once. Didn't have wheels, only skis. Straight line was fun, turning required super human effort. Riding in SoCal and Tahoe the snow can go from nice to ICE in a matter of hours. Having experienced bad ice riding I wouldn't want to ride a sled in the desert, no way Jose'. Not with all those rocks. As far as the whoops go, on the right sled you can skim right over the tops and flat haul *****. That's snow, can't say much for the dirt. We need a video of these guys... who's got one? My next toy will be a mountain sled, I'm tired of lift lines and gapers. Might have to look into a dirt conversion kit :)

I was out a Glamis once and one of the guys in our group brought one out with the front wheel thing. Even with wheels it was a ***** to turn but it hauled aZZ in a straight line. Accelerated all the way up Olds with 4 people on it.

Those things are scary fast but i know that they are super heavy and they suck down the fuel.

It looks like that thing didn't want to turn.. Must be a long ride.

They are a kick in the a** in the sand , it doesn't take long to burn up the hifax's (sp?) for the track sliders though - and yes they do require superhuman strength to turn when you're not in the snow !
