Anyone use the Race Ready cooler? Any good? The one I was leaning towards was the Fluidyne one (cheapest I found was at summit for $441 #FLD-DB-30612), but $249 for something similar could be an option.

It would be used for the E4OD on a Bronco.

RACE READY PRODUCTS SHROUDED COOLER W/ FAN
Race Cooler W/Fan is designed for use on engines or transmissions, rugged plate style element is fully shrouded for efficient cooling, Requires 1/2" npt fittings-sold separately. $249.95

Thanks,

We use the Race Ready oil coolers on my 5/1600 and on my prerunners and have had no troubles at all. But we are using them for oil coolers not trans. I dont think it would be any differant though.

NIKAL do you recall what size they are?
The Fluidyne Oil Cooler measures 15 in. x 15 in. x 9 in. Cooler, 11 in. Fan.

The Race ready cooler is I think a 84 plate cooler. The dimensions of the cooler is 11"x11" and the shroud and fan make it 4" tall. I think the fan blade is 8".

i recently purchased the fluidyne trans cooler myself. have not run it yet, but after asking many racers as well as local fab shops. everyone said the same thing, run the big/expensive fluidyne cooler or expect problems later down the road.
