So I should be tearing into the front end of the superduty tonight as my wheel bearings went out last week and carpooling with the lady isn't cutting it. Any tips or tricks? I will also be upgrading the locking hubs to Warn premium locking hubs and getting rid of the ESOF OEM auto hubs.

I don't anticipate wheel bearings being too difficult on this truck I just haven't done it yet. What I do know is that the bearing/inner hub assembly is one piece which is why it was so pricey.

Thanks in advance.

4WD? They're unit-bearings and they're not serviceable. Just go buy some new ones.

Edit: Just noticed that you mentioned locking hubs and that you already bought new hub assemblies. It's super easy to change them out. They're only he;d on by four bolts.

the wheel bearings are easy to do.you won't even get to greasy. the hubs are a piece of cake as well. i installed the warn's on one of my super dutys. i had problems with mine wanting to stay engaged. i see people driving around all the time with there front hubs engaged and the axles spinning.
