Hello,
I was wondering what amount of camber you guys are running on your 5-1600? Also I would really appreciate it if anybody has a VW link pin shim sheet, if they can post it or email to me. Thanks.

When I set the front end up on my 5-1600 I played with the amount of shims on either side of the upper and lower link pins and all it got me was plowing in the dirt, hopping around corners and just headaches. finally I went back to the basics and put the same amount of shims on both sides. Turns out it was a whole lot easier to set the toe in, the bump steer is now gone and I'm not grinding my tires down. Long story short keep it simple. Start with the stock dimensions listed in the idiot book. Measure the offset on the trailing arms with the spindles off and put the appropriate amount of shims in.
