My name is Mike. I started desert racing with a phone call about doing the 1000 in 05. So . . . I bought a dirt bike and started riding in May 05. 1000 in 05 November was not that bad. Had a 70 mile night section that was a blast.
Since then I have done the 250, 500 and 1000 in 06. Can't get enough. Section in the 1000 06 was 200 miles. daylight thankfully. Good stuff!!!! Hope to be racing a 1600 car and motorcycle class in 07.
