I would like to ditch the 3.73 gearing in my f-250 4wd and install 4.30. Who has found the best prices and does anyone carry a "package deal" for front/rear swaps. Rear is a sterling 10.5. Front I believe is a dana 50/60?? Thanks

4wheelparts has package deals there may be one in AZ don't know, they do good work here in Cali. F-250 what year, the new ones use the sterling 10.75 in the back and Dana 60 up front, but they should know at what ever shop you take it to.

I wouldn't take it to 4Wheel Parts. I know a guy who cored concrete for a living and wanted to be a mechanic, he got a job installing gears at 4Wheel Parts. He had never done a gear swap before starting there! Take it to a rear end shop or try Superduty Headquarters http://www.superdutyheadquarters.com/. They are in Gilbert, AZ.

I have used Randy's Ring and Pinion and like their service and availability of parts. I have also heard good things with Precisions Gears, but have not used them personally.

As to what your front axle is, what year is your truck? The 1999 until mid-year 2002 SRW F-250 Super Duties have Dana 50's up front. After that they have Dana 60's.

I would give Jason Hughes, Differential Systems 619.298.3568, a call and talk with him about what you would like to get done.
