Hey so merry xmas to everyone..
I have a 93' 3.0L ranger with some fuel problems. Its running real lean, it cuts out at wide open throttle going over bumps, or haulin around turns. Thanks to some really needed christmas money, i can now spend a little to help solve this problem. I'm considering dropping in a 22gal fuel cell in the back of my truck, new pump, lines, etc. Also i'm considering putting in bigger injectors because i have an aftermarket intake similar to a K&N. Could this possibly be the reason for it running lean? The plugs are white so its defintely running hot. Anyone know of a way to save money and put bigger injectors in. Is there a kit out there for that? What else is required if i want to put new injectors in? air flow censor? etc??
i'm trying to save the most money here and keep this engine going for another 6 months til i can drop a v8 in this. How much am i looking at for all of this if i can find a fuel cell for atleast under 150... how much for all the new fuel pumps and all that good stuff.. i've never done this before so i just want to get a general idea..
