what is a good replacment rear end for a toyota other than a 9". i have a 3.o with a think a 7.5 rear. w/ a 5spd.

A T100 8in or a Tundra 8.4" rear would be a good upgrade, both are wider also and the tundra has disc breaks. Also your truck has a 8in if it's a V6 just to let you know.

And the 8" isn't all that bad a unit by itself. Wouldn't replace it until it's the weak link or you already have too much power for it.

Yea or upgrade to the 8" of a trd 4x4, it will have 4:10 gears and a locker and will bolt right up.
