That one cat driver kept digging the ditch wider and wider till that one 1600 driver could not save any more time buy bypassing the rough straight away...

Ya, I saw it. We could here the SCORE opps guys getting upset about it on the radio. Someone even kept calling for a black flag on the channel. I think Sal's solution with the tractor was pretty good. Did anyone notice Sal park his truck to block another "creative line" on Saturday's 1600 race. Some of these "creative" lines lately seem a little blatent, especially when only one car takes it several times. Do these drivers realize they are the only ones taking that line and just think they are smarter then all the other guys, or do they figure everybody else is doing it also, so it should be okay?

Why all the hate against Robby Hendrickson, he's a good kid and he made a good point.

What I see here:

-Steven Eugenio is very talented, i dont know a lot of people who have qualified for 250cc Main Event in Supercross like Stephen has. That takes more talent than probably 99.9999% of people on this board will ever have. Stephen will one day win a race fair and square with no drama, I am betting by the end of the year!!!

- Steven took some lines that he should not have taken, he won the race, big drama, you all know the story. I think it really goes back to MDR being such a terrible series and not being able to have the balls to make a good decision. I dont blaim Stephen for this, I blame MDR.

-With the people that Steven beat at the race, Mr. Hendrickson made a good point that he thought Steven should have done better at Laughlin. No harm, no foul, thats his opinion and I know a lot of people on here seemed to have forgot what happend a couple weeks ago.

I know how to stop this thread, let me post something, that normally stops them cold.

Being proabably the oldest competing 1600 driver I can say with alot of confidence that not any of us who have ever raced the desert have ever driven 100% of the course as it was marked.
I for one, (it was purley be accident), got caught cutting, (I missed the markers and had not pre-ran), the course at a FUD race. I messed up, paid the price and went form 2nd to not quite last, bummer for me.

This class is unbelievable in the level of competition. You have guys overalling in 1600 cars, (Lorenzo @ MORE is the most recent, but not the only one), you have some of the largest turnouts no matter where you race, so there is always alot of money in play, which helps to keep and increase the competition in this class.

At the end of the day, people race hard, and sometimes by accident, sometimes on purpose, (I can't say what happened @ Plaster City I was home working on my car), people may take a line that short cuts, nerfs someone, what ever, RACING HAPPENS, GET OVER IT...

Why all the hate against Robby Hendrickson, he's a good kid and he made a good point.

What I see here:

-Steven Eugenio is very talented, i dont know a lot of people who have qualified for 250cc Main Event in Supercross like Stephen has. That takes more talent than probably 99.9999% of people on this board will ever have. Stephen will one day win a race fair and square with no drama, I am betting by the end of the year!!!

- Steven took some lines that he should not have taken, he won the race, big drama, you all know the story. I think it really goes back to MDR being such a terrible series and not being able to have the balls to make a good decision. I dont blaim Stephen for this, I blame MDR.

-With the people that Steven beat at the race, Mr. Hendrickson made a good point that he thought Steven should have done better at Laughlin. No harm, no foul, thats his opinion and I know a lot of people on here seemed to have forgot what happend a couple weeks ago.Matt thanks for the comps. But about the thread, its not that Hendrickson questioned my finish, thats fine. It's the fact that he trys to trash on me every chance he gets, WHY? Obviously look at the tittle of the tread, or his first post, they're personal attacks. This is after we did every thing we could to help there team out at the FREEDOM race. And after all the trash talk from everybody nobody has seen me talk trash back, it's because I'm just out there to race and have a good time with my family and friends. You two are not even close to the oldest active 1600 racer. Why dont you talk to Bill Krug. While he not be as active as you two...he is over 75 years old and scheduled to drive the first half at San Felipe.

I would like to suggest the following to end all of this ! Steve should explain why he took the lines around the hay bales and the other questionable lines and why he felt that it was ok for him to do that and then everybody can form their own opinion as to if if was whithin the rules or not. I truly beleive that only those of us that were entered in 1/2-1600 should even be involved in this discussion and not all those that did not even race ! After Steve has explained himself then form your opinion of him and then let this subject go and lets all move on to the next race !!! If you have chosen not to race with MDR anymore then I hope you find somewhere else to race because we cannot let this sport die or it will never come back and even though I do not agree with how MDR handled this situation I am not going to let it take my backyard away from me.Peace out and lets move on !!!!!!

Ok JAM you wanted to hear from me and my thoughts. Well from the dash race my thoughts are that yes the infield chicaine was a bad call I should of used better judgement. Other line with the sopposibly "W" on it, well I took that line because I preran 1 time the day before I did not see any "W" on that line, not saying that Matt and David didn't put it there but I can only go off what I see. It was not there when I ran it, Pab walked that line and he did not see any "W"s either
he'll back me on that. I just don't understand if the infield was such a cheat line and everybody was watching why didn't the officals radio to home check and them hold me for a minute or what ever is the required time, and tell me make sure to not go through it on the next lap or you will be DQed . Nobody knows. Just look at the Laughlin race I heard the same thing or worst was going on but nobody said "CHEATER" or made degrading and direct hateful coments to anyone, officals just put up dirt hills to try to stop it. Plus nobody saw me running to SCORE officals saying "I HEARD THIS OR I SAW THAT DQ DQ DQ" See nobody questions SCORE rulings well is it because they're the biggest racing series and everybody trust they make the best calls? I don't cry over spilled milk, its just racing "you win some you lose some" but be happy about losing as well... Jam the fact is I won the dash it is over can't change it so can we all just move on, I have anomosity towards anyone so lets all just go racing...
