I know RG is back on American dirt and has been for a few days- I also heard he may be enroute to Lake Havasu which makes me wonder if anyone has heard anything about the Parker race next weekend.

Is he racing or just heading to the river for some R&R?

After I teched his suit at Parker last year, one of my co-workers called him over to introduce us - I was a nervous wreck LOL!! It was pretty amusing to watch me go over his suit - actually, I make a spectacle over just about everyone's - why do it if you can't have fun ;) After he shook my hand and walked away, I declared I would never wash it again and have been teased relentlessly about it at every BITD Tech since then ;)

Just rolled in from Parker and brought a truck load of dust with me...

Well, no defending the title this year, but I did get to check out the truck up close and personal and man, pics just don't do it justice- It is just plain awesome.

RG seemed happy to be there, just seemed like the truck wasn't dialed in like it needed to be and a last minute effort made the fans happy until it came up short.

Saw some good racing- Rob MC and Mark P were very gracious in their gargantuan win- The truck hardly had a scratch on it...

Robby rolled the truck at mile 17 I think. We were at midway and he limped in with a broken spindle. It took a while for them to get it fixed and he took off for a finish.

Well, I sure am glad I got a chance to see him at mile 7 then. I didn't have a scanner, but at the finish line when the #3 was coming in, the announcers said RG had broken and was still stuck two miles from the pits and his crew hadn't gotten to him. Do you know if he broke again and if he ever did finish?

Abolutely true, but the the H3 got sent into a ditch pretty hard, and they finished the stage with it. I saw the "roll" pics, the truck looks ok. He probably just put it into a ditch again. You know how Robby does! Then he just got bored...

i almost needed a new set as well. we heard he was broke then we saw the trcuk come through the last few " s " turns on the infiled on to the long straights in the back the side and then down the main pit hauling @$$ he turned the coner and was all over the road and right be foire our pit we had a little rise and RG Flew off that thing i think i was a bit to close. by far the fastest we saw in that section

I'd be willing to bet the H3 is not in the country yet. The only reason he was able to race it last year was because he did not finish the Dakar and he and the H3 came home early. Not the case this year.

When Riviera came through the first time most of the pit was on their feet but then what some 7 hours later or whatever Robby comes through and the ENTIRE pit was on their feet and everyone within ear range after he passed was babbling and giddy at what they just witnessed!!!! It's no wonder RG is such a fan favorite- glad to hear he put on a good show, just sorry I missed it.
