Need to get the DL7 running ASAP. I need some help with a few things. Here it goes. 1994 4.0 OHV stock motor / C4 / Stock Computer.

1. Fuel System:
How do I run the fuel & fuel return lines from the stock intake manifold to the cell/pump? Do I use the short stock lines from the intake manifold and get a custom hose with the stock ford compression fitting on one end? Can I convert to an AN fitting right off the stock intake manifold? What threads into the intake manifold? Metric, AN, Pipe fitting, & Size?

2: Computer
Anyone have any idea "Exactly" which wires are needed to make the motor run from the stock motor harness, to the computer, ect?

3. Are there a few sensors that need to be bypassed, such for the stock A4ld Tranny, Speed Sensor, or a crank sensor? If so, how do you bypass them?

4. I seem to remember hearing something wierd regarding the wiring to the Stock Ford Alternator, something to do with the computer or jumping a wire mabey. Any idea?

5. Any other general tips, tricks, ect. I need to get the DL7 running ASAP.

6. Can somesone email me a wiring diagram?

Thanks in advance! ~josh

I've done the fuel system on different trucks both ways in the past. It mainly depends on how you want your system set up. You can buy the Ford fittings and EFI fuel line, but I wouldn't trust this Ford fuel line for racing applications. Which end of the line has the female compression fittings on it, Intake manifold side or fuel tank side. If you have any photos of the stock fuel fittings you're referring to, I may be able to help you out.

ive always left the stock line down to the stock filter in the frame rail. then converted it from the inlet side ot the filter back to the fuel cell. as far as the fuel pump electrical and the alternator goes are going to use the stock relays and fuse box? stock ignition switch? etc. the tranny electrical wires will not effect the running of the motor as well as the VSS in the rear end. cut them out and seal them up. a wiring diagram would be nice but not neccesary. it can be done by process of elimination and tracing wires back to the ignition switch etc.

I was going use this Russell (click here) ( http://www.jegs.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_10001_10002_752516_-1_10019) fitting to run lines to a cell on my 97 Ranger 4.0...

As far as the computer wiring goes, try to keep the MAF and O2 sensors connected. If you don't the computer goes into failure mode, the engine will run rich and you lose power and fuel efficiency. Found that out from experience.
